ABOUT JOHN
John Fortunato is a seasoned Product and Lifestyle Photographer, Retoucher, and Studio Operations Manager with over a decade of experience blending artistry with commercial impact. His work spans advertising campaigns, editorial features, e-commerce shoots, and video productions—consistently delivering visually arresting imagery that captures the uniqueness of products, people, and places.
Known for his clean, compelling aesthetic and strong storytelling, John produces content that drives engagement across web, print, digital, and social platforms. He leads a creative team of 10 with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach that’s rooted in integrity, ingenuity, and high-level production skill. As a studio manager, he combines technical expertise with smart, efficient workflows that consistently deliver on-brand, on-budget, and on-time results.
John holds a BA in Photography with a focus in Advertising from Brooks Institute of Photography. His journey began in Rahway, New Jersey, where he studied art and graphic design at duCret School of Art and the Art Students League in NYC. It was there that he first discovered photography—a path that led him to California to deepen his craft, and then back to New York, where he launched his professional career.
After starting as a photographer’s assistant, John quickly moved into an in-house fashion photography role, capturing NYC’s top models and developing a distinctive visual style. His work caught the attention of fashion magazines and catalog companies, eventually propelling him into the broader world of advertising and commercial content creation.
Today, John continues to merge creativity with strategy—crafting work that reflects the soul of the subject while achieving tangible results for the brands he collaborates with.
